JOB DESCRIPTION for WESTBROOK, CT.
Healthy Cooking and Meal Planning Organized and Professional Previous Experience as a Family Assistant/PA Family Travel (optional) Safe Driving Creative Engaging Infant Experience Toddler Experience Full-time nanny/family manager with at least an associate degree needed for working parents, M-F 9:
00 am-5:
30 pm, for a 2 yr old boy and a baby due in September.
The family also has 2 cats.
The family will keep their current full-time nanny to focus primarily on the new infant.
This position is a hybrid role.
The family manager will cover the infant when needed but primarily focus on the 2 yr old and house management.
The 2 yr old is in daycare from 8:
30 - 11:
45 and napping from 1-3 typically.
Compensation:
$33 per/hr.
, health insurance stipend, paid vacation, sick days, and use of the family car during work hours.
House Management Duties:
Coordinate with outside vendors to manage household projects (cleaning, repairs, maintenance, etc) and maintain a household vendor list.
Ensures that the interior of the house and cars are always clean and well-maintained.
This includes tidying up, laundry, loading & emptying the dishwasher, handling shipping and receiving of packages and tackling any necessary organization projects.
(Cleaners come in every other week) Maintain inventory of personal items, supplies and equipment in the house and restock as necessary.
Help manage food and meals for the family.
This may include grocery shopping, ordering and picking up meals as needed, prepping or preparing family meals, packing lunch for kids and feeding the cats.
Supervise infant nanny's routine and any slow time task lists.
Oversee and manage the household calendar, including making family appointments, reservations, and booking travel.
Create, maintain and update a family household manual.
Purchase gifts and develop and maintain a gift tracker.
Help plan and coordinate occasional family events, activities and holidays.
Perform ad-hoc tasks and errands as necessary.
AGENCY REQUIREMENTS; Fluency in English (bilingual is a plus.
) High School Diploma or more.
Permission to work - a minimum of working papers or a green card or citizenship.
Three years of recent, professional infant experience.
Stellar references.
An excellent driving history.
Looking for a long-term job.
Your own, reliable car to get to and from work.
CPR certified or willing to take CPR.
